The night is always darkest before the dawn...

weigh in:  157.0 lbs
loss of: 1.6 pounds

Heading back down in the right direction.  This is going to take great will power I can already tell that.  I am so done, and yet I am not done at all.  I don't know why I have such a problem picking myself up sometimes?

I feel as though, I am running a race in which I lost my way that took me on a major detour.  Now my muscles are so tired with how far I have yet to go, it is now going to be all heart pushing me on.  I know it sounds cheesy, but I am going to crawl and claw, whatever I have to do to make my way to that finish line.

We can do this!  I have been here before and know I can get through again.  Quitting is only an option when absolutely necessary, but just because it is a little hard right now is not an excuse for me.

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up.
The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

  1. I'm right with ya. I've only gained a total of .6 the last 3 days but I only had one cheat and that was Sunday so I should be over that hill by now. It is hardest seeing the gains when you've been on plan to a T.

  2. Wow Caitlin, I'm catching up on your blog. It is going to be ok! So you cheated and now your back. 3.6 is not too bad for 2 days of bad eating. Congrats on your 100 followers that is pretty cool. I haven't updated but time has gotten away from me lately. I get wrapped up in reading everyones blogs and forget about mine. I cheated a little on Easter and had a piece of crab quiche. It was tasty and although I don't regret it. My mistakes have kept me at 183 for the last 4 days! But I'm on protocol so I know it is only a matter of time. I'm rootin for ya! 145, 145 it's closer than you know!

  3. my dear friend! Thank you so much for your sweet comment today-- I've been so bad about posting and have been ignoring my blog for ages.

Eyes and mind forward! No looking back-- You had a wonderful Easter weekend with Grandma, and it was all worth it. You're only a couple of pounds from getting back to where you were, which clean eating will do. 145 is SO close! Hang in there!!

    much love to you too!!

  4. Some days (weeks!) are harder than others. Do not forget the wins. Though you gained and this loss is just part of that gain, remember you lost 1.6lbs in one day! 1/6 pounds! Its an incredible loss, don't forget to celebrate that success! Hang in there, tomorrow is another day, and perhaps an easier one!

  5. I think its been about 4 days since we have seen you around here - I hope you are doing OK, we miss you!

  6. I was just coming to say hey, hope everything is going well.
