Now, for a maintenance update. I am doing a steak day today. :( :) I have mixed feelings. I don't mind steak days, but I wish I was not up in weight. I have not weighed myself for the past 3 days, just because. I don't know if I just needed a break from the scale or what? Anyway, I am over the 2 pound limit and I just have not been watching my food intake as closely as I should. However, from my experience it will all be good in the morning. :) At least, that was after round 1 and who knows how it will be now. You can't count your chickens before they hatch, right? :)

the good thing is, and that you have learned from doing this for so long, is that you are keeping an eye on the scale, and not letting things get too out of hand. That is one HUGE lesson! Be very proud of yourself that you got on the scale, noticed a difference, and are now doing something to change it!
ReplyDeleteAs this is my first round, and I haven't gotten to P3 yet, I haven't had the opportunity to do a steak day yet. However, I think the thing that would be hard, is not eating until dinner! I think the big steak itself will be scrumptious!
Thanks lavenderdiva for the comment! You are right- I have heard of people not weighing in and it can be disastrous, because you just put yourself through how ever many days and because of a lack of weigh in you have to "redo" those lost pounds if you do go back, you know.
ReplyDeleteThe steak day isn't bad at all. I kind of enjoy not eating for awhile until dinner and just drinking plenty of water and tea. It makes my body kind of feel refreshed (for lack of a better word?)
I have just caught up on your blog from the past few days. I wanted to comment on the picture of you in your new jeans vs your old jeans, the difference is absolutely amazing! I don't know you but I am so proud of you for sticking with everything....you don't know how much of an inspiration you are. I have just started my HCG experience (day 12) and I had just purchased a size 14 pair of jeans less than a month ago...they are falling off of me now. I love it!
