HCG Incognito?

I feel like the HCG world is kinda of going underground or gone incognito now?  I hardly see those R2P2 Day whatever posts anymore and no one really reads my blog anymore...  Is this true, or not- who knows???

Well, all I can do is tell you all the truth with me.  And it is true with me.  I started another round of HCG 3 days ago.  I only did one day of loading:  gained 2 pounds and this morning woke up to a loss of 3.8 pounds.  I just decided you know what... HCG worked for me and I am going to go for it again.  My goal this round 135.  I started out at 156.4, went up to 158.4... and now at 154.6 pounds.

Last round I did not stabilize very well because of turmoil over thinking HCG was bunk (which it is for some and probably for me now- the Sugar Free Protocol totally makes sense to me, but I guess I am just wanting to go back to what I know- call me weak).  But, honestly if I follow HCG protocol I lose and maintain.  So whatever, sue me- I am doing it again and we'll see what happens.

I am stepping out and revealing myself and it is a little scary... so Hello, to HCG again!

  1. Hi,

I've been reading through your blog after deciding last month to try HCG for the first time. I did, and it has worked very well for me. I'm on P2D38 and I've lost 21 pounds. I will go for another round about mid September and will keep reading your post to see how your doing. I'm nervous about the P3, I'm starting to read what everyone is saying about this part of the diet, Yikes! Good Luck to You!

  2. We're in the same frame of mind... I'd been trying to apply the principles of the sugar free protocol and failing miserably. Once I reached the 130s (20 pounds over my goal, I'm under 5 feet tall) I said "that's it. Back to what I know works."
I feel I've learned a lot about what maintenance needs to look like the last while (in part thanks to the work being done at sugar free protocol, and also with sites like marksdailyapple.com which is Primal/paleo eating. Sugar, starch, grains in general cannot be a part of my eating if I want to maintain, and I've finally understood and accepted that.

In the meantime I want back to my goal weight and HCG is something I absolutely know will get me there.

Keep on keepin on! You're doing great!

  3. Yep, right there with you! I did a short round and didnt blog on it... felt the same way about it going underground. Crazy, huh? :) But like Susan and you, I know it works for me. And that is what matters!
And yes I read your posts... guess I better be better about posting myself! :)

  4. I don't think HCG is bunk. I think different things work for different people. And having researched and tried the sugar free protocol, if you now decide that HCG is what you choose because it is what works for you, then more power to you!

  7. Great info. I've been trying to get rid of of my belly fat for awhile now. Exercise, low-carb dieting, and taking hydroxycut before my workouts (for energy) has helped me lose about 15 pounds in the last 3 months. I'll give the tips listed here a try and see if I can lose another 10 pounds even faster!
